01Independent provider
NovaPC Care is an independent technical support provider. It is not Microsoft, a device manufacturer or the official support department of a product vendor. The presence of a product name, logo or dedicated product page does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, authorization or endorsement. For official warranty service, account ownership decisions or vendor billing matters, contact the relevant product or service provider.
02Product names and logos
Microsoft, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Windows and other named products belong to their respective owners. Their names and logos are used to identify products discussed in our support information. They do not mean that a license is included in a support fee or that NovaPC Care can grant access to a paid product. Product compatibility and available support must be assessed for the specific request.
03Website content and demonstrations
Website descriptions are general service information. They are not a diagnosis of your computer and do not establish that a device is infected, damaged or in need of repair. The animated support walkthrough is an illustration of a conversation process. It does not scan your system, install software, submit a request or connect a technician. Selecting a service link also does not authorize access to a device.
04Assessment and changing information
An initial discussion is based on the symptoms and details available at that time. Similar symptoms can have different causes. Additional information may change which checks are appropriate or show that a different provider is needed. A significant change in the proposed work or price should be explained before you approve it. Advice about a possible next step is not a guarantee that a particular result will follow.
05Remote and physical limitations
Remote support depends on a usable device, a functioning connection and appropriate permission. It cannot replace broken hardware, repair physical damage or restore an internet provider’s network. Some managed devices and accounts can only be changed by an administrator. Older or unsupported equipment may have limitations that software changes cannot address. Discuss any known damage, modifications or reliability problems before arranging work.
06Data, migrations and backups
Technical changes may affect files, installed applications, permissions or saved settings. Review important information and available backups before a reset, reinstall, account change or migration. A backup service is a separate task unless included in the agreed scope. Recovery of missing files and transfer of every app or setting cannot be guaranteed. A failing or physically damaged drive may need specialist assessment rather than ordinary remote troubleshooting.
07Security assistance
Reviewing settings or unwanted software does not establish that a device is free from every threat. Security tools and services have limits, and new risks can arise after a session ends. Do not treat an unexpected browser warning as verified evidence of an infection. Routine support is not a substitute for specialist investigation of a serious business compromise, a financial fraud incident or an incident requiring regulated reporting.
08Accounts, licenses and vendors
Only the responsible provider can make certain decisions about account recovery, identity verification, subscriptions, licenses and warranties. We cannot bypass authentication, guarantee that an account will be restored or override an organization’s access controls. Service availability and product features can change under the vendor’s own rules. Confirm current requirements and charges with the vendor before purchasing or planning a change.
09Availability and callback requests
A callback submission creates an enquiry when the website confirms it has been saved. It does not guarantee a specific appointment or response time, begin a remote session or automatically place a telephone call. The website does not advertise a verified live waiting time. Email us if you wish to discuss availability. Any committed service hours or response target must be separately agreed.
10Scope of guidance and questions
Our website describes technical support, not legal, financial or other regulated professional advice. Ask before approving work if the proposed scope, price or practical limitations are unclear.
